Queen Helene Mud Pack Masque

Hello! For some of us, the thought may sound gross, but mud on the skin is very helpful in rejuvenating it. One of the elements of nature (earth), mud is packed with minerals which help in improving health. It also has absorbing properties which makes it a good facial: absorbing impurities of the skin.

I have been wanting to go to a mud spa and have myself pampered. Unfortunately, there is none near my area and going to a different city would cost me a lot. Luckily, I was able to find Queen Helene Masque Mud Pack at a local department store. They already have a new look, unlike the one I have (shown in the picture above).

What it’s supposed to do

  • Reduce wrinkles
  • Tighten sagging skin
  • Clean pores
  • Relax tired facial muscles

How to use

  • Cleanse your face and don’t forget your neck as well.
  • Apply the product on face and neck, avoiding the eyes and mouth.
  • Wait 15-20 mins for the mask to harden. Make sure that there are no wet patches visible.
  • Remove product with warm water using a washcloth.

Natural ingredients

  • Water
  • Bentonite clay
  • Kaolin
  • Iron oxide

Price I got my 226.8g/8oz for $4.

Other information

  • Has natural English clay
  • Contains fragrance (parfum)
  • Environmentally concerned
  • Certified organic
  • Cruelty-free
  • Made in USA

Rinse thoroughly with tap water in the event that the product gets into your eye. Keep out of children’s reach.

My opinion

I love this. It’s true to what it claims to be. Upon spreading it on my face, the cooling sensation is making my face relax. When the product is hardening, I can feel my skin tightening as well. When the product is washed off, I stroke my nose with my finger and I can feel that my white heads are gone. My skin felt smoother and softer. It also reduced oil production of my face. This is really a good product to use. Using it once a week, it took me a year to use it all. You should use this product if you are stressed, after a day’s work. It really gives you satisfying results.

  • Has cooling effect
  • Tightens skin
  • Removes whiteheads
  • Makes skin smooth and soft
  • Removes excess oil
  • Doesn’t make skin dry
  • No animal ingredients
  • Not tested on animals
  • Doesn’t cost much

  • It contains fragrance (I like the smell though!)

There you go! I hope you find this review helpful. Do you have any experience using this product? How was it? Please let me know below the comment box! ❤

  1. I’ve tried the Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque, and it’s one of my favorites! Glad to hear this one it good too. I’ll have to pick it up sometime! 🙂

  2. I certainly don’t have experience using this. LOL. I do appreciate seeing the label at the back posted. I am more into the ingredients of such things.

Depending on how informed a person is, as there are more people nowadays avoiding preservatives, this product does contain methylparaban.

  4. I never tried applying a mud pack but i find it really intriguing and I wonder how it feels like after applying such product on my face…Knowing that it relaxes tired facial muscles, I think this product will suit me well

  5. Nice, sounds like a good product to try. I’m not really a fan of cosmetic products, don’t want to invest too much money on it, but some things, like dry skin in winter, is inevitable. So it’s only right to have a good skin care regime. And lately, I have also realized that feeling good about your skin, specially the facial skin, builds up confidence. Thanks for sharing this product!

  6. You have no idea how much I love that signature of yours at the end of every post!
And yes, I gotta agree with you on the mud use! It’s really reinvigorating!
